Brandy Wolf grew up in a small town in the Midwest with a smattering of brothers and sisters. It was a time when children were shoed out of the house and instead of a constant flow of toys and electronics in part due to the scarcity of money, were told to “use your imagination”. She has been drawing since she was small and is constantly picking up new hobbies. Her hunger for art is insatiable and her to-do list endless. Her friend has told her, “If you quit your job tomorrow and continued to do all your hobbies until the day you died, you would still be short a few.” It wouldn’t be for lack of trying though. With her Am Staff/Lab and newly adopted Bulldog by her side, she continues to use her imagination and to find appreciation in the everyday life. In a place where it’s so easy to focus on the glass being half empty, or the green grass on the other side, she tries to stay positive and convey that energy through her art. She is a long time employee at a granite company through which she also practices art and has gotten a feel for just how fleeting life can be, making positivity and appreciation high on the list of importance. You just never know when it’s your time. Other influences and enjoyments include traveling, befriending animals, scenic hikes, late night reading, amateur agate hunting, everything vintage, and her sweet, yellow, ball-obsessed dog who often hogs the bed.
